Who is the most confident person you know?

For me the most confident person has to be Jesus.

He walked his way freely, showed mercy to people in trouble and last not least opposed the clergy of his time, who tried to get a grip on him.

He distributed healing to unclean people, had meals with social outcasts and tore down rules, that suffocated life, while unimpressed by threats.

He did this all until he choose to finish his way to the cross. From the moment, when he started his final way, he remains almost constantly silent, not angry, or fighting but deliberately allowing the oppressing authority to do their worst to him. He did this, trusting God, whom he called his father, had set out this plan for him.

And God had a plan. Jesus was raised from the death, by God, so there is a way, were death has no longer the final say.
