How to start the journey from fear to fun?

Starting the journey from fear to fun

Every journey starts with a first step.

Instead of reading, you could also listen here …

And the very first step is: to know where you want to go!

Do you have a goal for the relation with your patients?

I guess we can agree, that we want our patients:

  • to feel seen
  • to feel heard
  • to feel taken serious
  • to participate in all decisions about their treatment

When the goal is clear, what remains is the path …

As the goal is easy to guess, the question that remains is:

How do we get there?

Or, to put it in another way: what are the obstacles, the pitfalls, the hindrances on our way?

Where do we go wrong?

Communication is challenging.

A lot is going on between the person sending information and the person receiving and processing it.

This blog digs deep into this often missed undercurrent, and aims to provide practical steps to improve our consultation so that it may become:

  1. More fun
  2. More efficient
  3. And more empowering for our patients.

Welcome to “From fear to fun”, where every journey starts with a first step.
